Fall: Blazing colors make this area a popular destination for "leaf peepers". The rolling hills of the Southern Tier and Valleys of the Finger Lakes come alive with a brilliant color palette during our Indian Summers. Sunny but cool fall days are a perfect climate for the outdoors and especially the Annual Wine Glass Marathon. Additionally, this is harvest time for the many wineries in the area.

Winter: We experience a true winter, with beautiful blankets of snow from Thanksgiving through late March. Temperatures often require a bundling up, but seldom prohibit outdoor activates or walks. Not too far from us, ski areas satisfy winter athletes with natural snow. Bordering the state of Pennsylvania, many sportsmen enjoy our location for the December Deer Season.

Spring: The season of new life is felt throughout the area with blossoms of Apple Trees, the grapevines coming alive and the greens of the surrounding hills beginning to develop. The area hosts the LPGA and Race Car Series each Spring. Some Sportsmen enjoy the Turkey Season each Spring.

Summer: Sun-filled days create the perfect climate for touring downtown Corning and Market Street or taking in a Sailplane ride. A great time of the year to enjoy the many offerings of the Finger Lakes Region, including their wineries and Antiquing. The Lakes themselves are also abuzz with visitors and natives alike. Closer by, take in a hike or a Picnic at Pinnacle State Park or a round at Indian Hills Golf Course, just a mile away. August brings the "Wings of Eagles" Air show to our area.
